Katherine Jones

It is my absolute pleasure to be a part of the Lincoln Academy family. My name is Katherine Jones, and I am the mother of three wonderful children. I received my bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in Biology with a minor in English. I have since obtained an Elementary Education teaching degree and an endorsement for English Language Arts for 6-12th grade. Last year I started working on a masters degree with a Library Media emphasis. I have lived in Utah for 18 years now. Before Utah, I lived in Michigan, Missouri, New Mexico, and Germany. I have taught 3rd grade, 7-8th grade English Language Arts, and I’m currently the librarian for Lincoln Academy. I absolutely love working in the library. I have the privilege of working with all students from Kindergarten through 9th grade. My passion is helping kids find their own voice in the world through the power of words. I look forward to another wonderful school year filled with amazing students, good books, and the magic that happens when students and books combine.
